Here at First Tracks Shoes we're all about the science.

In the kicks lab we have worked tirelessly for the last 8 years, experimenting with different toe shapes, heel back heights, sock materials, elastics etc. until... Eureka! First Gen was born! 

First Gen provides the classic high top sneaker look without the fuss dealing with laces, simply pull on and go! Super light weight, flexible with great grip, our shoes allow toddlers to walk, run and climb feeling like they're barefoot whilst protecting them from rough surfaces.

We care deeply about what type of planet our children will inherit from us, wanting to minimise our carbon footprint as much as possible, we designed our sock thread from 95% recycled post consumer polyester. We're proud of this and did so without compromising on style or comfort.

1. Wide toe box to allow for natural spread of toes. This helps with balance when learning to walk
2. Anti-slip strong grip sole. Great for climbing at the playground.
3. Easy to pull on breathable, comfy sock made from 95% recycled post-consumer polyester. Gentle on your little one and gentle on our planet.
4. Super lightweight sole made from thermoplastic rubber (TPR). The key properties of TPR include excellent fatigue resistance, chemical resistance, impact resistance, and high recyclability.
5. Flexible sole allows for natural flexion of foot.
6. Fully sealed waterproof under-sole so your little one’s feet stay dry on wet ground. Note: The sock is not waterproof however, so try to keep them away from the puddles 😊
